GENIE What are you? A magician? A sorcerer?
MERLOT (Impressively) I am a wizard.
GENIE How about Dumbledore?
MERLOT No, I –
GENIE – Gandalf?
MERLOT No, I –
GENIE – Merlin? He was the O.G wizard.
MERLOT My ancestor himself. I suppose you’re a goody two-shoes just like Merlin. But I’ve got bigger, better plans for my powers.

GENIE That’s my lamp!
MERLOT Do you mind? I’m trying to act here.
GENIE I’ve seen better acting on Eastenders. Now, what do you want with my lamp?
Music Mysterious music
MERLOT My magic is weak. But with your powers at my disposal, no one can stop me.
GENIE But only those that are pure of heart can retrieve the lamp from it’s hiding place.
MERLOT I’ll find a way.
GENIE What will you do with the wishes the lamp grants you?
MERLOT My first priority is to win lots of money at Pantoland Racecourse.
GENIE That’s cheating. It’s against the magical code of conduct.
MERLOT You would have to do as I say. That’s the rules of the lamp. And once I’m rich, I’ll have all the power I need to take over the world.
